We are a community of Censys users and security professionals who aim to make the internet of tomorrow a safer place for everyone. Here you will find discussions around tips and best practices for using Censys tools as well as user groups, product updates, opportunities to join beta programs, and more.

Please read these Community guidelines to help you make the most of your time here.

• Sharing personal information or information about the organization you work for is completely at your discretion. We support protecting your privacy. Feel free to omit personal, organizational, or other identifying information from your Community profile and posts. Remember the Community is public and anyone can see what you share here. Treat user groups and subforums as if they were fully public.
• Using any queries or information shared in the Community is at your own discretion.
• For support, check out our support hub.
• To submit feature requests or get updates on requests you’ve previously submitted, contact your Censys account team.
• Keep the Community neat and organized by choosing the right category for your posts. If you aren’t totally sure where your post should go, just do your best. Our friendly mods will be happy to move the post later if needed.
• If you share something (like a helpful query) that someone else created, do your best to credit them.
• If you edit your post, leave a quick note to explain what you changed. This helps preserve the integrity of our discussions and keeps the Community open and honest.
• We’re a friendly community of professionals who are here to help and learn from one another. Be respectful, and keep in mind that some behavior will not be tolerated. Spam, fraud, phishing, hate speech (including racism, sexism, bigotry, and any other inflammatory or divisive language), pornographic content, and profanity are forbidden.
• The Community moderator team reserves the right to change or remove posts found to be in violation of these guidelines at any time at our discretion, though we will always drop a quick note or send you a private message to explain why. Our goal is not censorship but merely to create a safe, inclusive space for everyone with a shared passion for Censys tools and the security world to connect, collaborate, and evolve. You can always flag posts for our mods to take a second look if something needs extra attention.
• The Community moderator team may deactivate any Community account that violates these guidelines.
• By participating in this community, you agree to abide by the Censys Data Retention Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.
