Hi Folks 👋 Drew here. I work on the blue side of things doing threat hunting work at a Fortune 1000. Been in technology roles for 30 years since my first job working through college, then a long stint in federal government, and now commercial. Aside from work, you will usually find me watching sports, exploring Chicago neighborhoods, reading, or indulging in one of my hobbies (my wife accuses me of having way too many 😂). I follow all the major Chicago teams: Cubs (definitely not the White Sox, but I’m not fanatical about it), BlackHawks, Bears, and Bulls. Hoping to hear and share some ideas from this community on how to suss out threat actor infrastructure, scope out novel attack surface, and smartly use my very limited amount of Censys credits wisely.

Hey there! My name is Stephanie Gruss and I am a Senior IT Systems Analyst at Censys. I’ve worked in the security world for about 5 years and in internal IT support for 15 years. I’m deeply invested in the success of others, because when I fix your problem, we all win! This also translates into being curious about many aspects of cybersecurity and gaining a deeper understanding of how both my colleagues and our customers use our tools and other technologies. Outside of work, and also sometimes during meetings, I spend a lot of time doing random crafts. In the past year I have picked up stained glass and sublimation. Crochet, knitting, and spinning yarn will always be my mainstay crafts though. If you have a crafty question, feel free to ask!
